Circular Genome Support

Can JBrowse support circular genomes? It would be nice to be able to scroll through the origin, and to have features span the origin.

I see that this ticket has been open for a while, but I'm also interested in visualizing a circular genome (human mitochondrial). Has any progress been made on this?
